AN IMPORTANT WORK:

I luoghi comuni sulla neurodivergenza is a video aims to promote Ultrablu’s activities by depicting a genuine dialogue between Christian, intrigued by his friend Edoardo’s autism, and Edoardo himself. Through this exchange, written collaboratively by Giacomo (neurotypical) and Andrea (neurodivergent), the video seeks to debunk stereotypes surrounding neurodivergence. The choice to feature both a neurodivergent and neurotypical actor underscores the importance of authenticity in representing diverse experiences.

“Immagini di Città”…

…an exhibition at the Teatro Valle to celebrate the 150 years of Rome as the Capital. The exhibition featured 12 imaginary maps created by 6 young illustrators. A project by the Teatro di Roma, curated by Graziano Graziani, in collaboration with Dominio Pubblico.

Illustrations for the workshops of “ROMA URBAN SKETCHING” in the streets of the historic center of Rome. “Immagina” a project by Ultrablu with the support of the Lazio region. The illustrations depict the areas of Trastevere, Esquilino, and Celio

IL PESCATORE

This mural was created at Villaggio Azzurro in Fiumicino, thanks to @tinarte.festival, a project by Andrea Gandini and Marcello Ascani. It depicts a future where humans and machines can coexist, reaching a fusion where neither one displaces the other. This cyborg fisherman is depicted on his boat, peacefully fishing.

Muroviglia

At the Lucio Fontana Comprehensive Institute in Grottarossa, students collaborated to create a mural guided by Giacomo Calderoni, Andrea Calcagno. The mural depicts a cyborg’s journey through a magical portal, meeting characters like Riki the robin and Zak the giraffe, symbolizing unity and overcoming differences. Together, they rejuvenate a desolate land, inspiring a soldier to end a devastating war. The narrative promotes themes of friendship, solidarity, and environmental stewardship, advocating for a better future founded on compassion and sustainability.

Nature Concrete

Mural created on the perimeter walls of the kindergarten in Cocciano (Frascati), thanks to the contribution of the Lazio Region for Street Art. Project curated by Ultraltrablu.

“Non Seguire la Mia Strada” (my book)

A thirty-something unemployed man, the shepherd of one of the world’s most populous communities, the time (lost) demon, the lady of 490, and the jackals of Metro Line B, the ATAC system crashing, the villas and benches. Three trials to overcome insurmountable stations, a dad to find again, a day to rebuild, and a path not to follow. The epilogue of the epic battle between pedestrians, asphalt, and smog has not yet been written. In the meantime, having an agile dystopian guide will be enough, the only weapon to screw over the inconsolable passing of Roman minutes
